In 2016, our community education seminars reached over 500 Hunterdon and Somerset county residents, providing a panel of local experts on topics ranging from coping with Alzheimer’s Disease, hoarding, caregiver stress, and more.
Based on our work with older, incapacitated residents, and our network of service providers, we anticipated that “Hoarding” would be one of the most well-attended presentations. We had an overwhelming response to the presentation and many residents remained afterward to obtain more information from our panel on how to help family members with cross-cutting issues like hoarding, caregiver stress and pharmaceutical help.
