Special Deputy Surrogate Flemington, New Jersey Brooke Schumann is the Special Deputy Surrogate in the Hunterdon County Surrogate's Office, coordinating the Guardianship Monitoring program, managing funds held in the Surrogate's Intermingled Trust Fund (SITF), and assisting with probates, administration and other estate matter processes. Previously, she advocated for and with persons with mental illness on an Integrated Case Management Services team with Easter Seals, New Jersey, and acted as a neutral case manager with the American Arbitration Association. A graduate of Smith College and the University of Cambridge, her background in psychology/criminology, mental health and other community resources, as well as experience being a guardian of a family member, lends itself to serving as an Advisory Member for Volunteer Guardianship One-on One, Inc.
